Your measurement around there will decrease.

It will decrease the amount of fat on your butt, but it will increase the size of the muscle if you do this vigorously or for a long period of time. So it may or may not decrease the size of your butt depending on how much fat there is too loose and how much muscle you replace it with.

It's more of a shaping tool, it builds muscle, which burns calories (about 60 calories a day per pound of muscle). Cardio exercises, such as running, biking, etc, are the best ways to decrease size. However, muscle building and shaping will both help to lose that excess size, as well as make it look better.

i am not an expert bodybuilder like you asked for, but i do know alot about exercises to get in shape with. now on to your question. the exercise you are talking about will indeed tone and shape the buttocks and hamstrings(back of legs). there is a better way to do this though. the best way to target the butt is to get down on all fours like you are going to crawl. lift your knee off the ground and kick straight back and upwards. while doing this be sure to flex the buttocks muscles. you should do this about 20 times with your right leg, and then again with your left leg. repeat as many times as you ca, but sont over do it, you will be sore the next day of you are not used to strenous activity. hope i helped.
